The Russian hacking saga

Peskov said the Kremlin is not surprised that Trump did not specifically mention relations with Russian Federation in his February 28 speech to the U.S. Congress.

And how can you tell the difference?

The Indiana Republican noted that Russian Federation has "a long history" of propaganda and trying to influence elections and that recent events suggest Kremlin officials "have stepped up their game".

The FBI and intelligence community have unanimously charged that Vladimir Putin's government interfered in the US elections in its successful attempt to get Trump elected.

James Clapper, then director of national intelligence, issued a declassified report on January 6 that concluded Putin's government had ordered "an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the USA presidential election". And yet Trump excised it, like Trotsky from Soviet photos.

Attack on Clean Water Rule
Legal experts point out that Trump's orders on their own will have no effect on the climate change regulations or the water rule. In a separate lawsuit , on October 9, 2015, a divided federal appeals court stayed the rule's application nationwide.

"Do you promise to fully and completely cooperate with the committee's investigation of the Russian election hacking?" Sen.

That's the short version of a defense offered Thursday by Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), chair of the House Intelligence Committee, as reporters questioned him about looking into contacts between members of President Trump's administration and Russian officials.

"Russia would like Libya to once again become a full-fledged state after a barbarous foreign interference in this its internal affairs which led to disastrous consequences as far as the existence of the Libyan state and the future of the Libyan people go", Peskov said. On Monday, Nunes, the man responsible for overseeing the House's probe into the Russian Federation matter, assembled reporters and declared: "The way it sounds to me is it's been looked into and there's no evidence of anything".

Mr. Coats said Russia's recent assertiveness is "something I look upon with great concern", calling it a problem that "we need to address with eyes wide open and a healthy degree of skepticism".

The former advisers have all denied having contact with Russian officials during the campaign. "But there's been nothing to suggest that this rises to the level of a special prosecutor".

Razzies announced: Which film was the year's worst?
This year's Razzies have been announced and on this year's winners list, comedy was nearly completely shut out. Pictures shows Ben Affleck , left, and Henry Cavill in a scene from, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".

Nunes was a member of Trump's presidential transition team.

But a flood of reporting and leaks from inside the White House have raised serious questions about the president's relationship with Russian Federation, and it's increasingly clear that an independent investigation will be necessary. The White House strongly denied the claims made in that report, and asserted the Federal Bureau of Investigation deputy director Andrew McCabe told Trump's chief of staff, Reince Priebus, that the story was "bullshit". But the congressional Republicans leading the investigation have already declared their partiality.

The Intelligence Community report released concluded that Russian President Vladimir Putin called for an influence campaign aimed at helping Trump win the White House. The role previously under the Obama administration had been included and granted access to meetings.

On the 30th of December 2016, former US President Barack Obama ordered the expulsion of 35 Russian suspected spies and imposed sanctions on two Russian intelligence agencies over their involvement in hacking USA political groups in the presidential election.

So where are these crack investigators now? The president has said he wants to get a lot done.
